Lovelies, I thought I would start sharing with you my {Singapore}Weekend Guide, or things I plan/ would like to do over the weekend... Bear in mind that I have two young children though ;)
::: SATURDAY :::Tanjong Beach Club - Sentosa
Woken up quite early for a Saturday {you've been warned!}, I would love for once to skip our regular Saturday lunch plans {fried fish at home} and head to the
Tanjong Beach Club in Sentosa for a lazy brunch... kids can play on the beach and we can all have a dip in the swimming pool!
Doesn't a brunch at Tanjong Beach Club sound lovely?

website::::::::::When the heat becomes unbearable {at noon?}, it's time to go home and let the kids rest before heading to the
Art Garden exhibition at SAM {
Singapore Art Museum}{I know we've already been last Tuesday, but it's too good}. If you have read my
short report two days ago, you know we had lots of fun and that it's as enjoyable for the parents as it is for the kids. Really. I mean it.

Once the kids have been fed and are in bed , I am tempted to head to
Lau Pasat iconic food court for a quick and inexpensive fix. I don't have any favorite stall to recommend, but there is everything from Vietnamese to Filipino, Chinese, Malay, Indian foods etc...

Then I would hang around Esplanade and try to catch up the fireworks {rehearsal for the National day celebration in August 9} before heading up to Marina Bay Sand to check out their
Chocolate bar. The alternative is to spend some time at bar/ lounge
Kudeta. The music is good, and the view... oh my, the view is just amazing.

No more clubbing for us at the moment, as Sundays are usually starting even earlier than Saturdays... you can't really wake up at 7am if you've been to bed at 3am the night before, right?
::: SUNDAY :::
We yet have to bring the kids to Pulau Ubin {I haven't been too, oups!}, rent a bike and explore the island. Irene of
Bloesem Blog has written a
report of their excursion on her blog with beautiful pictures to illustrate it. If you haven't been, you will want to go right now {if weather permits of course}.
After such an excursion with two kids, all you want is to hang out by the pool and ... REST! haha... joking, the kids will still have plenty of energy, so you can hang out by the pool and ... entertain THEM.
Happy weekend everyone! what are YOUR plans?
