TRAVEL Paris | Eating local food at Chez Victor

While in Paris (read my previous post here), we were introduced to a new and lovely place in the 14th district (métro station Pernety) called Chez Victor - that had opened early December 2017.

Created and run by Victor Brun, the épicerie and restaurant is committed to propose fresh produce (vegetables, eggs, cold meats, drinks etc...) that come from maximum 100 kms from the center of Paris. Victor proposes simple yet delicious lunches Monday through Saturday and has recently launched his first Saturday brunch (booked out within a couple of days!).

I was charmed by the decoration of the space and the attention to details: the menu has been laser printed on wood, the floor recreates the effect of a Parisian apartment's wooden floor and the space is kids friendly too!

We wish Victor much success in his F&B venture and hope to visit again this year!

Loving the blue shade & the logo!
The épicerie side with fresh veggies, eggs and dry foods...
... and drinks of course (beer, wine, lemonade, sirups)!
Fresh eggs
Everything comes from no more than 100 kms from Paris
Cool & green decor!
Kids approved!
Loved the design of the floor!
Self-service area for lunch
Laser printed menu on wood
Fake and real plants: which one is which?
😅

Another restaurant to mention in the same street would be Papy aux Fourneaux
The 14th district is worth exploring!!
